WestEndYoga - The History For
years, Helen Crowdey has been practicing yoga and applying
what she learns on her mat to her life - having to translate and
adapt her lessons to
suit her busy lifestyle as a single mother and a business woman living
in the hectic and very demanding West End of London, Helen's 'WestEnd'
style of yoga led her to create WestEndYoga - the yoga for big city
living! Helen spent four years as a children's yoga teacher,
taking YogaBugs and Yoga'd Up to inner city kids in schools, nurseries
and children's centres before taking on the London branch of YogaBugs,
in the process of doing this Helen was constantly approached by the
parents and teachers of these children, who, when witnessing the benefits of yoga on the children, wanted to practise
themselves. Adult clients range from stressed teachers, mothers with
post-natal depression and parents with highly stressful careers and no
time to attend a yoga class. Realising that the team of YogaBugs teachers
working together with the children all had various wonderful and
different styles of adult yoga and holistic skills on offer,
WestEndYoga was born. The story continues...
